ARTISTS STATEMENT
I am primarily an oil painter but also enjoy using charcoal and pastels to draw and paint with due to their versatility. The inspiration behind my artwork nearly always stems from three things; intuition, empathy and emotional connection. Creative responses to such stimuli come much more naturally to me than verbalising, thus my creative practice enables and encourages a safe space for self expression and reflection. I am also a spirit artist and channeler, so it is for this reason that my practice is often centred around a spiritual connection to and love of animals, people, nature or the organic; that which lives or has lived.
